Chopra

Have you heard of any of these two big names?
Well, they are well over seven figures ...
if you mind googling them!

Deepak Chopra or Richard Dawkins
  • The former made a name for himself with Spirituality and well-being (80 books!) from the US to the world over;
  • the latter, has been an evolutionary biologist and British author, who is known for his popularization of Darwinian ideas and the inventor of "memes".

here, Your random fictional Deepak Chopra quote:
This site is intended for entertainment purposes only. It in no way reflects the thoughts of Deepak Chopra. BUT, try the QUIZZ!

  • "The cosmos nurtures dimensionless happiness"
  • "The soul illuminates pure external reality"
  • "The unexplainable is at the heart of an abundance of fulfillment"

item # 2
Chopra spends much of his time writing and lecturing from his base in California. He had a successful career
Chopra is much richer and certainly more famous than he ever was as an endocrinologist or as chief of staff at New England Memorial Hospital. He left traditional medicine behind in 1981 when Triguna convinced him that if he didn't make a change he'd get heart disease. Shortly after that he got involved in Transcendental Meditation. In 1985 Chopra became director of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center for Stress Management in Lancaster, Massachusetts....

Three fiction  books he wrote: Muhammad, Jesus, Buddha
New-age author and physician Deepak Chopra has offered prominent atheists such as Richard Dawkins a $1 million prize challenge to offer a scientific explanation for the biological basis of thoughts and ideas.
Addressing what he called a "tribe of militant new atheists," naming Dawkins, James Randi, and Daniel Dennett, Chopra announced the challenge in a video uploaded on Youtube earlier this week.

"Can you please offer a scientific understanding for the biological basis of a first-person experience? Any experience – mental experience, or perceptual experience. So for cognition, or for perception. And I'll even make it more simple. Can you offer a scientific understanding for the biological basis of an idea, a thought?"

Why are Ayurveda and Chopra so popular?

"The popularity of Ayurveda and Chopra is a testament to the failure of modern life  to satisfy deep longings for simplicity, something to counteract the isolation that many people feel. Hope is a powerful narcotic."  (R. Todd)

BIG QUESTIONS:
Richard Dawkins irritated by irrationality (05:24)

TASK-01.Find 5 expressions you may use in a debate:
Rethorical questions, contradictions, responses, ...

TASK. Who says...... D Chopra ( ayurveda doctor) or  R Dawkins (biologist)

  1. I's like to remind you that ad hominem is a logical fallacy, I should reming you that.
  2. You accuse me of jargon -misusing language,  how many peole understood me?
  3. This my turn to speak, Sir,
  4. .........
  5. According to people like Freeman Dyson, "atoms are sentient"
  6. If it is that what he says, which i doubt, yes, I disagree?
  7. "a single cell has (a rudimentary form of) awareness"
  8. you can not solve the problem saying... "a single cell has awareness"
  9. x, y, z, purpose, search of meaning, and so on are an expression of awareness!
  10. do you say....Freeman Dyson says "atoms have awareness"?
  11. check it out

Could you accept any of his views??

Believe me, this is part of a letter Dawkins wrote to his daughter, aged 10:

The child’s brain has to be a sucker for traditional information. And the child can’t be expected to sort out good and useful traditional information, from bad or silly traditional information, like believing in witches and devils and ever-living virgins. (...)
Now, when the children grow up, what do they do? Well, of course, they tell it to the next generation of children. So, once something gets itself strongly believed – even if it's completely untrue and there never was any reason to believe it in the first place — it can go on forever.
Could this be what happened with religions? Belief that there is a god or gods, belief in Heaven, belief that Mary never died, belief that Jesus never had a human father, belief that prayers are answered, belief that wine turns into blood – (...) Millions of other people believe quite different things, because they were told different things when they were children.

Richard Dawkins vs Deepak Chopra  (08:23)

"I’ve never done anything to Deepak Chopra. At least, not in this lifetime. "  R Dawkins on Chopra

====== EPILOGUE: Freeman Dyson.... against the grain
Freeman Dyson’s “My theology” is an excerpt from “PROGRESS OF RELIGION”, his acceptance speech of Templeton Foundation Prize for Progress in Religion. Delivered
in the Washington N’l Cathedral
 on May 16, 2000.
This speech is worth reading in whole, published online by Edge
http://www.edge.org/documents/archive/edge68.htmlRichard Dawkins, in the God Delusion (2006, p. 152), took a negative view of Dyson’s acceptance of the Templeton Foundation Prize: “It would be taken as an endorsement of religion by one of the world’s most distinguished physicists.” But Dyson was never fazed by criticism of his peers.
Dyson was born in Britain, got his B.A. at Cambridge Un., and moved to the States at age 24, joining the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He confirmed the validity of Richard Feynman’s diagrams in quantum physics, making them intelligible and acceptable to the community of physicists.
Dyson was a born contrarian, a disruptive dissenter, never willing to follow the consensus and authority of like-minded scholars.
A profile article in the New York Times (March 25, 2009) called him “The Civil Heretic”.
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/29/magazine/29Dyson-t.html?_r=2&ref=magazine&pagewanted=all
  • Steven Weinberg said of Dyson:  “I have the sense that when consensus is forming like ice hardening on a lake, Dyson will do his best to chip at the ice”.

Ever Considered Working From Home?Melissa Johnson from Manresa never thought that she would work online, until curiosity got the best of her and she filled out a simple online form. Before she knew it, she discovered her secret to beating the recession, and being able to provide for her family while at home with her three children.
I read Melissa's blog last month and decided to feature her story in our weekly consumer report. In our phone interview she told me her amazing story. "I actually make about €12,000 - €13,500 a month working from home. It's enough to comfortably replace my old jobs' income, especially considering I only work about 15-18 hours a week from home
.
You could be receiving cheques like this
Image result for WORK FROM HOMEWorking online has been a financial windfall for Melissa, who struggled for months to find a decent job but kept hitting dead ends. "I lost my job shortly after the recession
hit, I needed reliable income, I was not interested in the "get rich quick" scams you see all over the internet. Those are all pyramid scams or stuff which you have to sell to your friends and family. I just needed a legitimate way to earn a living for me and my family.
The best part of working online is that I am always home with the kids. Thanks to the Online Wealth Markets I am giving my kids the childhood they deserve."

item #3 . REVIEW

Lots of people are looking for something they can earn with online.

Image result for WORK FROM HOMEHowever, many who stumble upon these M. Johnson scams end up more broke and possibly overdrawn than before they signed up. All with zero chances of getting their money back.
Melissa Johnson is used quite often, and each time we and others expose the fraud, the scammers put up another new scam site, still using her name with different stock images.
I have tried to find a real person by that name, but the only real ones are a teacher, a photographer and so on, but nay tied to online
marketing end up in complaints about these link posting scams.
Certainly you will not find anything about any “America’s number one internet business consultant”, “expert” or whatever clever hook they can make up if you search for a legitimate .
These are just some of the latest of many scams using the name Melissa Johnson:
  • Home Based Business 7
  • Home Jobs Revealed
  • Online Money
  • Michelle Taylor’s Home Jobs Revealed
  • Net Learning Kit Systems
  • Online Home Careers
  • Power Seller University
Oddly, the scammers who run these sites change their URL links quite often as soon as they’re exposed, but the site and name are always the same, almost arrogantly defiant to let us know they know that we see them as the scam they are, yet they don’t care.

How To Avoid Work At Home Scams

With this article on ” How To Avoid Work At Home Scams” I will lay out what I look for when researching programs and products and what leads me to a scam verdict!
  • Scams come in many shapes and sizes and they don’t have to be delivered by slippery Internet salesman. Whatever results in giving you false hope when it comes to not delivering on what was advertised I consider a scam all they need is a willing participant.

Rap the liberalism of wonderful capitalism: From Verne to dust nanobots

Oh, poetry...
 from verse to universe,

Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
This is major Tom to ground control, I'm stepping through the door
And I'm floating in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today
Here am I sitting in a tin can far above the world   (Space Oddity - D.B.)

from multiverse to thingiverse,

flying craft - space tin cans - weaponry spacecraft

From Robur the Conqueror by Jules Verne (1886)

Given the popularity of space fighters in such mass media shows as Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and others, they obviously appeal to people.
The bare idea of combat spacecraft behaving like fighter aircraft is just as silly. In both cases a metaphor is being forced into a situation where it does not work.

In reality, when the Wright brothers invented heavier-than-air flight and Fokker Triplanes started dog-fighting Sopwith Camels, it was totally unlike anything that had occurred before:
  • Biplanes never ever tried to cross the T,
  • and a sea-going battleship had never ever performed a U-turn ( Immelmann turn.)

Top 25 Best Classic Science Fiction Books:
 #18 A case of Conscience
James Bliss A case of conscience, Arrow reprint, 1984I’ve been a keen science fiction reader most of my life, though less so in recent years as there seems to be less SciFi about. A box of my old books turned up out of a time warp and I’ve decided to re-read them. Here a Blish's book from 1958. "Humanity as government is not shown in a good light in the book, nor is Catholicism. Today, how kindly would we accept a Jesuit priest who wanted to annihilate an alien planet because it is a tool of the devil?"
The genre has been in decline for some time, perhaps because we’ve entered an age of ignorance about science. An age it seems where peer reviewed science can be debated, as if there could be another side.             (Tony- Breadtag sagas)

IF any learning is self-learning,perhaps... in the (near)future, any production will turn into self-production, replicant machines all over.
TASK. Listen and take notes.... (up to 06:25)

RepRap is humanity's first general-purpose self-replicating manufacturing machine.
RepRap takes the form of a free desktop 3D printer. Since many parts of RepRap are made from plastic and RepRap prints those parts, RepRap self-replicates by making a kit of itself - a kit that takes you to a thingiverse!  thump, thump Aldous Huxley's BNW-1931! It also means that - if you've got a RepRap - you can print another RepRap for a friend...

From this and that:  nanobots,

there are 4.184e12 joules in a kiloton and 4.184e15 joules in a megaton. So simply:
Ekt = M * 42961.6
Emt = M * 43.0
where:
  • Ekt = total annihilation energy (kilotons)
  • Emt = total annihilation energy (megatons)
  • M = mass of antimatter (kilograms) Please note that M is the mass of antimatter, NOT the mass of the matter + the antimatter.
If you are interested, 42961.6 is from (9.0e16 * 2) / 4.184e12 where 9.0e16 = c2, 4.184e12 = joules in a kiloton, 2 = 1 unit of matter + 1 unit of antimatter.

- 'Small Country'    // - 'Porcelain Girl'  //  'Shake It Baby'
- 'With No Voice'  // - 'Beautiful Lola'

She, she loved me so much, and …
I still love her now
Together we both went through many closed doors
She, how Could I explain it well
She was my love back then
When in the fireplace were burning only words of love.
CHORUS:
These words of love,
so simple, so tender,
How could we know better, we just turned 15
We hadn’t had much time to learn the ways
We’d just woken up from innocent days

A couple of phrases were more than enough then
The ones we had learnt from some old wise men
Stories of love stolen from poets
How could we know better, we’d just turned 15

She, who knows where she is now,
Who knows where she is going
I lost her,  I …. never again will I get to see her
Sometimes and when the sun goes down
I hear a song from afar
Familiar and old same old sounds,
the same old words of love

CHORUS: The same sound with words of love

How could we know better, we just turned 15
We hadn’t had much time to learn the ways
We just woken up from innocent days ...
