L'artista de Kerala, sud de la Índia, Haritha Savithri (ഹരിത സാവിത്രി
en la llengua Malaiàlam), establerta a Castellnou de Bages des de fa anys, i actualment, estudiant de doctorat a la UB.
El seu bagatge personal l'ha portat a mostrar un estil molt personal dins l'expressió artística.

Our friend Haritha Havistri shared some of her work with us.
She studied at Kerala University a Masters degree in English 1996-97.
As a teacher from those exuberant lands and with hery diverse social context, Kerala, Haritha studied English.

2. SOME INTRODUCTORY WORDS
The artist from Kerala, in the south of India, Haritha Savithri, established in Castellnou de Bages for several years, wishes to share her concerns with us: empowerment of women and human rights.
Within the creative arts:
- she loves painting in different styles.
- she has also has written a couple of Children stories;
- has translated two books into his Malayalam language (33 million speakers),
- collaborates with militant journalism -to show a reality that is often invisible- to asianetnews.com.
Haritha is currently studying doctoral studies at the University of Barcelona and writing a novel.
